Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager

Job Summary

The Business Development / Key Account Manager drives sales of our software product. This position requires daily outbound call activity to generate new business, as well as lead prospecting and current customer cultivation.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and pursue growth strategies and plans
  • Identify user needs and match with product features
  • Prospecting and lead development by phone, email and other means
  • Create relationships with users for support and retention
  • Maintain an understanding of user needs
  • Ensure users get prompt responses to questions and support requests
  • Serve as the link between users and internal teams
  • Create progress reports according to established procedures

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in a sales / marketing position
  • Strong communication skills. Articulate in a client-facing role.
  • Understanding of business to business sales processes
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented; eager to win new users and expand the company

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong outbound business to business sales experience
  • Familiarity with real estate business practices
  • Familiarity with the software development cycle and ability to work closely with programmers
